Privacy Policy — EOA Books

Last updated: July 22, 2026

This policy explains what EOA Books does and does not do with information. It applies to the EOA Books iPhone app and to this website, both published by Willis Strategy ("we", "us").

The short version

We do not collect your data. EOA Books has no accounts, no login, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no servers operated by us. Everything you enter stays in the app's private storage on your device.

Information the app collects

None. EOA Books does not transmit your ledger, your account names, your transaction amounts, your business name, or any other content you enter to us or to any third party. There is no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, and no tracking of any kind embedded in the app.

Where your data lives

In-app purchase

The optional EOA Books Pro unlock is processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment card, billing address, or Apple Account details. The app asks Apple whether a valid purchase exists for this Apple Account and receives a yes or no; it does not store, transmit, or share any purchase information beyond that. Apple's handling of your transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Permissions

EOA Books requests no location access, no contacts access, no microphone access, and no health data. If a future version adds a feature that needs a permission such as the camera for receipt capture, iOS will ask you at the moment the feature is first used, the app will explain why, and declining will not affect the rest of the app.

Children

EOA Books is a business bookkeeping tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and as described above, we do not collect information from anyone.

Your rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA

These laws give you rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal information, and to know whether it is sold or shared. Those rights are directed at organisations that hold your data. We hold none.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
